The Douglas County Farm Bureau is offering scholarships to invest in the future of agriculture.
This Oregon county office will award 6 $1,000 scholarships to high school graduates pursuing a future in the agriculture industry. Students must be enrolled in an accredited college. This includes current college students and high school graduates. Home-schooled students can also apply for these scholarships.
Winners will be selected based on personal and educational merit. The office will look for students with strong leaderships skills and agricultural experience.
Past recipients can apply every year for the annual scholarship.
The Douglas County Farm Bureau is part of the Oregon Farm Bureau. The OFBF was established in 1919 to protect the rights of farmers across Oregon as well as continue to boost the industry through education and assistance.
