Ohio Farm Bureau Accepting Scholarship Applications

The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation is offering its annual scholarship to students from rural, suburban and urban Ohio communities. These students must attend programs connected to agriculture.
The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Scholar Award recipient is someone with strong academics, community service participation and career interests in any sector of agriculture. The main goal of this scholarship is to recognize a student who is willing to connect the community to producers. Young women can also apply for the Women’s Leadership in Agriculture Scholarship Program. Students who have participated in Farm Bureau Youth Programs or whose parents are Farm Bureau members can also apply for the Darwin Bryan Scholarship Fund.
10 $1,000 awards are available through the foundation. Applications are due on March 1, 2011 for all programs. Contact the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation at foundation@ofbf.org or call 614-246-8294.
