Scholarships for Young Ranchers and Farmers

The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation announced a number of scholarship opportunities for young farmers and ranchers in Minnesota.
With a grant from the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, the MFBF is offering 100 $100 scholarships to the upcoming YF&R Conference in January. The remaining $5,000 will be used for 20 $250 scholarships to the AFBF Conference in Oklahoma in February.
These conferences are important for the future of the agriculture industry, keeping the youth and young farmers interested in pursuing a career.
“The main focus of the Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers & Ranchers program is to provide opportunities to develop leadership skills,” said MFB President Kevin Paap. “Thank you to the Minnesota Corn Growers Association for their investment in this program. The monies will assist more young farmers to participate and to gain valuable experience.”
