The Dairyville Community Club, Inc. in Tehama County recognizes agriculture is vital to any community. Therefore the club made the commitment to help college students, financially, that are majoring in agriculture.
The club announced $14,000 in scholarships is available for students who are entering into or are already in an accredited agriculture program. All qualified students are encouraged to apply for the Upper-division or Graduate scholarships.
The Upper-division scholarships are intended for college sophomores or juniors as an encouragement to study agriculture. The Graduate scholarship is for those entering a masters or graduate program in agriculture studies.
Eligible students are only those who graduated from Tehama County high school. Since 1998 the club has awarded over $114,000 to agriculture students. Money is fund raised throughout the year from the Annual Dairyville Orchard Festival and business donations to the Dairyville Memorial Fund.
