Cape Fear Fair and Expo Partners With CFCC Foundation

The Cape Fear Fair and Expo and Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) have partnered up to support the CFCC Foundation, a scholarship program for teachers, students and school programs.
The annual Cape Fear Fair and Expo draws thousands of people every year and with every advance ticket purchased starting this year, attendees will be donating $1 to the CFCC Foundation. Cape Fear Fair and Expo
Manager Skip Watkins told WWAY News the main goal of the donation is to support agriculture, industry and education.
The scholarships are available for any students attending CFCC, including those seeking a degree in agricultural studies. The CFCC is in need of funding with a record-high attendance enrollment. This year 9,500 students attend classes at CFCC which means the need for financial aid is also at its highest.
Money from the CFCC Foundation funds scholarships to students, classroom supplies and activities as well as school programs.
Advance tickets for the Cape Fear Fair and Expo, held Oct. 28 through Nov. 6, are available at Scotchman stores. Tickets are $13, saving you $3.
